"Fragments of Never Was"

three years roaming hills

crow’s nest hair     cirrus cloud ribcage

my teeth, dimes collected

in a tin can

Virginia creeper

snakes past lightning rod poplars

vine circling my thigh     scarlet garter

oak bride

redbird wings/origami roses
