Good Pussy Bad Pussy
Q: There’s a lot known about Good Pussy Bad Pussy, tell us something about the author behind it.
Aimee: Well… if you really want to know about me, here’s the short version: I’m interested/fascinated/obsessed with the connection between sexuality and spirituality. Why? Probably because I’m obsessed with these two sides of me. My split personality. The spiritual seeker and the passionate lover. That’s me.
Why can’t these two sides meet and merge? Or maybe they are. Maybe that’s what’s they’re doing right now. Maybe that’s what’s happening to me right now. Maybe that’s why I was suddenly able to write about all this stuff. Was able to write two Good Pussy Bad Pussy books. Just think about the title Good Pussy Bad Pussy. That just about says it all.
And believe it or not, I’m a spiritual teacher, writer and therapist – or at least that’s my day job. But I’m also a woman who’s been obsessed with sex her whole life, sex and love addiction.
Sexuality and spirituality are both the search for God realization – of this I am now sure. But somehow because of all our taboos, we – or should I say – I am so split between what sometimes (or oftentimes) seems like two powerfully opposing forces. But more and more I come to see they are not.
Q: What do you mean when you describe Good Pussy Bad Pussy as a sexual thriller and erotic romance?
Aimee: One of the things I wanted to explore and write about was orgasm, which I consider to be the ultimate surrender and a powerful portal to ecstasy and the flow state where we are fully present in this now moment. So I started this exploration in Good Pussy Bad Pussy – Rachel’s Tale. And then I added to this an exploration of the conundrum that arises if we reach this blissful state of surrender in and through situations (and/or with people) that we don’t particularly like or find acceptable. Situations like this are part of the drama of the book – which is why the book is a “sexual thriller”. Things get complicated, difficult, challenging, weird, strange, exciting and well… you’ll just have to read the book and find out what happens to Rachel. Because she does get herself into some pretty hair-raising situations in her attempt to escape an unhappy marriage and find her freedom.
Q: Tell me about the sequel, Good Pussy Bad Pussy in Captivity? Is there a third tale in the making?
Aimee: The story of Rachel, Albert and Stefan continues in Good Pussy Bad Pussy in Captivity. When the first book ends, you want to know what’s going to happen to Rachel after this. After all she’s been through, it can’t just end here. For me, it was like Rachel and her story just wouldn’t let go of me and she wanted me to continue her story, so I did. Things get even more complicated and darker in the second book but also go higher and deeper. So again, you’ll have to read it to find out. All I can tell you is the reviewers say the second book is even better than the first book.
Q: How do you feel about BDSM in literature?
Aimee: Different strokes for different folks. When we understand this, we can also see why it doesn’t really matter what label you put on the way in which we human beings reach the state of orgasmic bliss. It doesn’t really matter if it’s through a man-woman connection or man-man connection or a woman-woman connection or a several-people connection – nor does it matter what the particulars of the sexual act are, whether we do it upside down or backwards… The reality is – we’re all seeking the same release and the same bliss. We’re all seeking the very same moment of release and ecstasy where we get to experience this amazing NOW moment of timeless Presence which is who we truly are.
The really strange thing is that we put so many labels on the various types of sexual relationships and experiences – making some of them right and some of them wrong, making some of them good and some of them bad, when they are all basically the same. All basically part of the human quest for release and ecstasy.
Q: With the success of Rachel’s story in the Good Pussy Bad Pussy series, do you plan to write a new series? If yes, do you have any characters or ideas in mind?
Aimee: Working on a third Good Pussy Bad Pussy book already… Rachel simply won’t let me go so the exploration goes on…
